Poverty eradication is a core commitment of UNDP. The organization strives to provide everyone with the opportunity to live with dignity, eliminating all forms of poverty and ensuring social equality. Eradicating poverty within the framework of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is an essential task for creating a world that respects human rights and the dignity of the individual.
The UNDP Strategic Plan for 2022-2025 plays an important role in poverty eradication. This strategy aims to support countries and communities in accelerating progress in poverty eradication, as well as in providing solutions that take into account the economic, social and environmental aspects of poverty.
Government agencies are offered six solutions to support the implementation of a new generation of policies on poverty reduction, inequality reduction, governance, sustainability, environment and gender equality. These measures are aimed at eradicating poverty and improving the well-being of all citizens.
