On November 6, 2024, at 6:00 PM, in Auditorium 431 of the Higher School of Economics and Business, at the Department of Economics, an international online lecture on the topic "Economic Growth" was held for master's students as part of the course "Macroeconomic Modeling" within the framework of SDG 4 and 8 indicators. The lecture was delivered by Professor, PhD Cüneyt Dumrul, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Erciyes University (Turkey).
The purpose of the event was to facilitate international experience exchange in science and education between university faculty from the two countries.
Additionally, within the framework of the "Macroeconomic Modeling" course, the lecture included an analysis of economic growth models in institutional systems, including production, financial, and administrative contexts, based on the experiences of developed and developing countries. The master's students were particularly impressed by Professor Cüneyt Dumrul's research on financial markets, financial development, financial freedom, economic efficiency, employment, and the Keynesian model of aggregate demand.
At the end of the lecture, senior lecturer, Candidate of Economic Sciences D.R. Turarov noted that the topics and issues discussed during the event had captured the interest of the master's students and expressed gratitude to Professor Cüneyt Dumrul on behalf of the participants for his presentation.
