At the Department of Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies in the Iranian Studies division, Dr. Fahimeh Shakiba, a PhD holder, delivers Persian language lectures to students and graduate students, as well as to participants in the national online Persian language proficiency course. Dr. Fahimeh Shakiba was sent to KazNU by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Dr. Fahimeh is a graduate of Iran’s leading university, the University of Tehran (major in archaeology), and completed her master's and doctoral studies in "arts, ancient languages, and culture" at the Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies. She is a specialist in Iranian culture and ancient languages. Currently, she is an associate professor in the Department of Ancient Iranian Languages and Culture at the Faculty of Iranian Studies at Vali Asr University in Rafsanjan.
