SDG 16 – Goal of Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions: "Law – the Foundation of Order and Justice."

On November 7, as part of SDG 16 – the goal of peace, justice, and strong institutions – a character-building session was held with 4th-year students of the "Geodesy and Cartography" specialty on the topic "Law – the Foundation of Order and Justice."
Purpose of the session:To provide information on the state of the judiciary in Kazakhstan, promote the building of a peaceful and open society for sustainable development, ensure access to justice for all, and create effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels.
During the session, students actively expressed their opinions, answered questions, and participated in discussions. They addressed issues of violence around the world, shared their thoughts on social and legal injustices in various countries, and discussed the necessity of fair judicial systems. One of the key issues highlighted was corruption and its impact on these aspects.
In conclusion, considering the various changes and conflicts in the world, students discussed pressing issues within the country and society. The session ended on an optimistic note, with hope for Kazakhstan to become a just state with the full force of the rule of law in the future
