KazNU launches Youth Forum of the Turkic world

В Казахском национальном университете имени Аль-Фараби стартовал I международный форум молодежи тюркского мира.

About 200 young people from 25 countries have arrived to participate in the large-scale event, which is being organized for the first time.

On the first day of the forum, a motivational interview and a discussion meeting for young people took place.

The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkiye to Kazakhstan Mustafa Kapuju, Head of the Office of Turks Abroad and Related Communities Abdullah Eren, Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry Aziz Sanjar, Chairman of the Committee on Cultural Policy of the Republic of Turkey Iskender Pala, Acting Vice Rector for Social Development of KazNU Sabit Suatay, diplomatic and consular missions.

During the forum, the speakers stressed the need to strengthen the unity of the youth of the Turkic world. The distinguished guests also discussed topics such as the creative industry and the development of new technologies.

Professor, Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry Aziz Sanjar said in his speech: "It is important that the youth of the Turkic states work together and achieve a common goal. Only then will the relations between the Turkic countries strengthen and develop dynamically. The further development of the Turkic world is a great achievement for all of us. In this context, it is very important to hold such large-scale forums and conferences for young people".

The young people who specially came to the forum were able to ask the speakers various questions and get comprehensive answers. Also at the event, the participants shared their suggestions in a free format.

In addition, a guided tour of the sights of Almaty was organized within the framework of the forum. Young people learned about the tourism potential of Kazakhstan and saw with their own eyes the beautiful places of the city.

The opening ceremony of the First International Youth Forum of the Turkic World will be held on November 22. The forum, scheduled for three days, is organized by the TURKSOY International Organization in cooperation with the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
