Rector of KazNU participated in the meeting on sustainable development

Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev took part in a conference on "Managing socio-economic systems in order to transition to a model of sustainable development". The event was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Rector of KazNRTU named after K.I.Satpayev in 2008-2015. Zheksenbek Adilov.

During the conference, the participants noted the personal and professional qualities of the scientist, his contribution to the development of the country, and the value of his legacy for the future generation.

A congratulatory letter from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, was read out at the event.

In turn, the rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University congratulated the hero of the day and expressed his warm wishes. Zhanseit Tuimebayev stressed that the name of Zheksenbek Adilov is inextricably linked with the development of technical education and science in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"Zheksenbek Makeyuly is a unique personality who has devoted his entire adult life to the development of national education and science. Thanks to his hard work and dedication, Zheksenbek Adilov proved himself to be a professional in his field. He raised many students. They are currently working in various senior positions. The life and career of a scientist is an example for the younger generation",- said the rector.

Murat Zhurinov, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, also delivered a congratulatory speech during the conference. In his speech, the academician noted that Zh.Adilov, simultaneously with his teaching activities, carried out a lot of scientific work. Today he is the author of 7 monographs and more than 70 scientific and methodological works.

Zheksenbek Makeyuly is one of the founders of research in Kazakhstan on the development of theoretical foundations for managing complex socio-economic systems, which are necessary for the transition to a model of sustainable development. He initiated the practical implementation of the results obtained in the real sector of the economy and in the field of education.
