2nd-Year Hydrology Students Visit the Kazakh State Academic Theatre for Children and Youth Named After G. Musrepov as Part of SDG Implementation

On November 15, 2024, 2nd-year students of the "Hydrology" educational program, together with their curator, Ms. Abdyllayeva A.S., visited the Kazakh State Academic Theatre for Children and Youth named after G. Musrepov. They attended the play "Mahabbat, Kyzyk Mol Zhyldar" based on the novel of the same name by Azilkhan Nurshaikhov.

The plot of the performance revolves around the love story of two young characters, Yerbol and Mengtai, who are the main protagonists of the novel. This time, the director presented the audience with a fresh, contemporary interpretation of the classic story through a modern perspective and creative solutions.

This cultural event was organized as part of the implementation of SDG 4 and aimed at strengthening cultural heritage through the promotion of art.

Attending the play allowed students to gain a deeper appreciation of Kazakh literature and theatrical art while also fostering interpersonal connections and strengthening the group’s team spirit.
