On November 26, 2024, the Department of Turkology and Linguistic Theory held a debate on the topic "Decent Work and Economic Growth" with the first-year master's students of "Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages" major. The aim of the event was to discuss strategies for improving working conditions and supporting economic growth in line with sustainable development goals, as well as to raise students' awareness of the importance of professional ethics and sustainable career development. The debate was conducted in Kazakh, English, and Russian. The debate allowed participants to deepen their knowledge of decent work and enhance their public speaking, critical thinking, and argumentation skills.
