Opening of a branch of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Omsk  

An important event was the opening of a branch of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on the basis of Omsk State University named after F.M. Dostoevsky.  which took place within the framework of the state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kazakhstan. 

The event was attended by Rector of KazNU Zhanseyit Tuimebayev and Rector of OmSU Sergey Zamyatin. The new branch is focused on training specialists in the educational program "Customs Business" at the bachelor's and master's levels.  A special feature of the branch was the opening of a special cabinet named after Sh. Ualikhanov, which will be used for practical and theoretical training of students.  
The opening of the branch is a new step in strengthening educational cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as a contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of customs. This project will become an important bridge for strengthening friendly and cultural ties between our countries.
