IX Kasymzhanov Readings: Exploring the Foundations of Kazakhstani Philosophy in the 21st Century
As part of the IX Kasymzhanov Readings, an international scientific-practical conference titled “The Main Directions of Kazakhstani Philosophy in the 21st Century: Spirituality, Identity, Values” was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
This large-scale event was dedicated to the 93rd anniversary of the birth of Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, and Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Agym Kasymzhanov.
The traditional event was attended by the Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Darkhan Zhazykbay; Acting First Vice-Rector – Deputy Chairman of the Board of KazNU, Erkin Duissenov; Professor and Scientific Advisor of the Al-Farabi Center, Zhakypbek Altaev; Professor Tursyn Gabitov; Advisor on Ecology and Socio-Economic Development and UN Consultant in Central Asia, Roberto Boltri; as well as philosophers, scholars, experts, students of A. Kasymzhanov, faculty members, and students.
