A «charity event» with the participation of first-year master's students of the English group
On November 28, 2024, within the framework of SDG 2 aimed at «Zero Hunger», senior lecturer of the Department of «Finance and Accounting», Ph.D. in Economics, O.Zh. Zhadigerova organized a «charity event» with the participation of first-year master's students of the English group in the «Accounting and Auditing» program at the Faculty of «Economics and Business».
Sustainable Development Goal 2 «Zero Hunger» is one of the most critical challenges facing the global community in the 21st century. Hunger is a problem that affects not only low-income countries but also more developed nations, where social inequality and food insecurity persist. In response to these challenges, many organizations, both international and national, are actively working to address the issue through various initiatives and actions. One such initiative is the organization of charity campaigns aimed at providing basic food support to those in need. These events not only help reduce hunger but also raise public awareness about the importance of sustainable food security and the need for long-term solutions to this global problem.
Charity campaigns organized under SDG 2 play an essential role in the fight against hunger and food insecurity worldwide. They provide urgent assistance to those in need, but a comprehensive approach is necessary for sustainable solutions. This includes improving access to food, supporting agriculture, developing infrastructure, and raising awareness about sustainable food production and consumption practices. Thus, charitable initiatives not only address the immediate consequences of hunger but also represent a crucial step towards achieving sustainable development goals, particularly in ensuring food security for all.
