Visit of teachers of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University to Baku State University

From November 23 to 26, 2024, teachers of the Department of International Relations and World Economy of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Apsattarova G.A., Sultanmuratov N.N., Parpiev S.M. and Mukhametzhan A. made a working trip to Baku State University of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the university's management, including the Director of the Department of International Cooperation and the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations. During the talks, the parties discussed issues of strengthening academic cooperation and agreed on the implementation of joint educational initiatives.

Among the key agreements:

- Development of student and teacher exchange programs.

- Creation of two-degree educational programs.

- Organization of joint scientific research and publications.

- Holding annual international conferences on topical issues of international relations and the global economy.

This visit was an important step towards the creation of strong academic and scientific ties between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, strengthening KazNU's position in the international arena. Cooperation between universities not only contributes to the development of academic ties, but also forms the basis for training specialists who are able to effectively solve problems in the context of globalization and integration.

Strengthening the scientific dialogue between the two leading universities in the region opens up new horizons for educational and cultural exchange, as well as for the formation of a unified scientific space within the Trans-Caspian region.
