YOUNG SCIENTIST OF THE KAZAKH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OTYNSHIYEVA AIDANA AITUKYZY SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH AT A LEADING UNIVERSITY IN FRANCE
Senior lecturer of the Department of International Law, PhD Doctor Otynshieva Aidana Aitukyzy successfully completed her post-doctoral research at the LexFEIM Laboratory for Fundamental Rights, International Trade and Maritime Studies at one of the prestigious universities in France - the University of Le Havre. The research was carried out with the support of the French Foundation for Human Sciences (FMSH) and the French Institute for Research in Central Asia (IFEAC). This program provides young scientists from Central Asia with the opportunity to study and conduct research at an international level.
This post-doctoral research was conducted in September-October 2024 on the topic "Human rights protection mechanisms in the Republic of Kazakhstan at the present stage: problems, current state and ways to improve". Scientific supervisor – Professor of the University of Le Havre, Director of LexFEIM – Pierre Chabal. Aidana Aitukyzy conducted research in the framework of international law and national legislation, considering topical issues in the field of human rights protection. The main goal was to understand and develop international standards for the protection of human rights, their application features, legislative framework and practical issues. Scientific research was carried out in Paris, Le Havre, Rouen, France.
“My internship at an educational institution in a competitive, developed country gave me a great opportunity to get acquainted with international law and various legal systems. In addition, this experience helped me to gain applied knowledge in my field and develop professionally. Working with leading scientists in France was a great honor and invaluable experience for me,” the young scientist noted.
At the end of the foreign trip, a scientific article of 8,000 words was submitted to the French Institute for Research in Central Asia (IFEAC) and a report on the trip to the Foundation for the Humanities Science (FMSH). A certificate of successful completion of post-doctoral research was awarded in English and French. Aidana Aitukyzy plans to use her accumulated experience for the benefit of the country. Her scientific work is aimed at the development of domestic science and contributing to international research.
