Acquaintance of a USA scientist with the cultural sites of Almaty

John Mahoney, Professor of Kansas State University, Doctor of Philosophy, visited the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, with a visit to develop cooperation in the field of science. On this occasion, in order to get acquainted with the Kazakh culture, Professor of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies, PhD K.M. Borbasova, a 3rd year doctoral student of the Department of Islamic Studies of the bachelor's degree. The organizers of Mukana presented several museums and cultural places filled with the history and culture of Almaty, and national dishes were served in the ethno-restaurant "AUYL".
