Advanced research of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the field of sustainable development was presented in the Green Business Pavilion

Advanced research of Al-Farabi KazNU in the field of sustainable development was presented at the International Conference "Green Business Pavilion: Sustainable Solutions for Climate Protection and Economic Growth", organized by the Representative Office of the German Economy in Central Asia.

Green Business Pavilion combines an interactive presentation of innovative projects in the areas of sustainable development, energy, circular economy and others, with practice-oriented panel discussions. The pavilion provides an open platform for international and local business representatives, where they can present their solutions and ideas.

Al-Farabi KazNU presented its scientific research in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development, and in partnership with NETSCI, a member of the Association of German Business in Kazakhstan, joint initiatives were presented within the framework of the "Green Business Pavilion".

Participation in this event helped to establish a partner network and exchange views on the importance of NDCs, as well as develop specific recommendations for their further development. The event is aimed at addressing the objectives of the SDG 13 “Climate Action” and SDG 17 “Partnership for Sustainable Development” initiative.
