As part of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 3 “Quality Education,” SDG 5 “Gender Equality,” SDG 10 “Reduced Inequalities,” and SDG 17 “Partnerships for the Goals”, the Department of Business Technologies organized a meeting between the Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business (HSEB) and representatives of Malikussaleh University (Indonesia), ranked in the QS Universities.
During the meeting, the prospects for cooperation in academic mobility, dual degree programs, doctoral supervision, and faculty internships were discussed. As a result, a memorandum was signed between the two universities.
The Higher School of Economics and Business hosted a guest lecture featuring the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, PhD Jully Mursyida, and the Director of the Business Department, Dr. Mohd. Heikal.
The first topic of the guest lecture was: “Strengthening and Empowering Women Entrepreneurship: A Case in ASEAN-INDONESIA.” During the meeting, issues of gender equality in Asian countries were discussed. Jully Mursyida shared Indonesia’s experience in implementing gender rights, highlighting that one of the priority areas in entrepreneurship is achieving gender equality, ensuring the rights and interests of women, and strengthening their role in social life and business.
Dr. Mohd. Heikal then presented a lecture on “Relationship Marketing.”
