On November 13, 2024, at 10:00, the Faculty of International Relations at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, organized by Candidate of Economic Sciences S.N. Abieva, held an event for 4th-year students of the “World Economy” specialty on the theme “Tenge — a Symbol of Independence,” dedicated to the National Currency Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event aimed to enhance the significance of the tenge as a symbol of Kazakhstan’s independence, connecting it with historical and cultural values, and to promote this among students. Participants and students highlighted the history of the national currency, its importance as a symbol of independence, and its contribution to the country’s economic development. Games and quizzes related to this topic were held among the participants, where they tested their knowledge and gained new information.
