Lecture-seminar on the topic "Sustainable development of agriculture" in the framework of the implementation of SDG 1. "Eradication of poverty"

December 9, 2024 at 14.00 as part of the implementation of SDG 1 "Poverty eradication", a lecture-seminar was held, organized by professors and students of 1-4 courses of the specialty "Biotechnology" on the topic: "Sustainable development of agriculture" 

Organizers: professors of the Department of Biotechnology Atabayeva S.D., Asrandina S.S., Shoinbekova S.A., Kenzhebayeva S.S. and students of the 1st and 4th courses of the group, specialty "6B070103" - Biotechnology.

The purpose of the event: To explain to students the place of biotechnologists in contributing to the achievement of SDG 1 "Poverty eradication" through sustainable agricultural development, ensuring food production in a sustainable way based on social justice, also involves fair remuneration of agricultural labor to overcome poverty.
