Exhibition within the Framework of the I Congress of Young Scientists of Kazakhstan "Zhas Satbaevshylar"

25 november, 2024

On November 21-22, 2024, an extensive exhibition of scientific achievements was held in Almaty as part of the I Congress of Young Scientists of Kazakhstan, "Zhas Satbaevshylar." Organized by the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the event was dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the prominent scientist, academician Kanysh Satbayev. The congress brought together researchers from across the country to showcase their unique developments and projects.

The main goal of the congress was to promote the exchange of experience and ideas among young scientists, as well as to support their initiatives in research and innovation. The event included plenary sessions, sectional discussions, and thematic round tables focusing on key issues of modern science, such as ecology, biotechnology, digitalization, and energy.

Special attention was given to the prospects for the development of science in Kazakhstan, engaging youth in research activities, and strengthening international cooperation.

The exhibition of scientific achievements featured advanced developments and innovative projects by young Kazakhstani scientists from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) in fields such as biology, chemistry, and physics. Among the participants was Dr. Malika Anvarbekovna Abdulzhanova, a senior lecturer from the Department of Biotechnology at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology. She presented the "Argymak" series of fermented dairy products enriched with microencapsulated probiotics. Her project became a vivid example of how young Kazakhstani scientists contribute to the development of both national and global science.

The exhibition demonstrated the vast scientific potential of young Kazakhstani researchers and their commitment to innovation. The participants inspired many guests and proved that the future of Kazakhstani science is in reliable hands.
