KazNU employees received a state award

Professors and doctoral students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University became winners of the state youth award "Daryn" and the grant competition "Tauelsizdik urpaktary"

This year, the winners of the "Daryn" award were selected in the categories "Literature", "Science", "Design and fine arts", "Journalism", "Classical music", "Creative initiatives", "Sports", "Theater and cinema", "Variety" and "Folk art".

In the Science nomination, the head of the laboratory of electrochemical oroduction technologies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, associate professor Fyodor Malchik, became the winner of the State prize.

Bauyrzhan Alkozha, a doctoral student at the Faculty of Journalism, received the "Daryn" youth award in the literature nomination.

And 30 young Kazakhstanis who presented the best projects were selected as the winner of the "Tauelsizdik Urpaktary" grant. Among them are two university teachers. In particular, Birlik Sagitzhanov, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, and Kanat Beknazarov, a lecturer at the Faculty of Chemistry. Two professors won in the Science nomination.

It should be noted that each winner of the "Tauelsizdik Urpaktary" competition was awarded a prize of 3 million tenge.
