Al-Farabi Kazakh National University awarded the winners of the "Best in Profession" competition dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was organized by the Parasat KazNU Workers' Union.
The traditional festive event gathered teachers and university staff in a large conference hall.
Erkin Duisenov, Deputy Chairman of the Board and Acting First Vice–rector, congratulated the university staff on Independence Day.
He stressed that the achievements of the university are the merit of the university's many thousands of staff – management staff, teaching staff and researchers. "Thanks to your diligent work and efforts, today we can be proud that our university is rightfully the flagship of science and education throughout Central Asia", - Erkin Duisenov said. "Today, the best of the best employees of our university who ensure the smooth operation of both educational and research processes will be awarded".
The winners were also congratulated by T.K.Mekebayev, Chairman of the Parasat trade union of employees of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, stressing that the competition serves as an incentive for university employees from year to year. Its winners become an example for colleagues in their desire to achieve heights in the profession, to achieve authority and respect in the team.
This year, 25 employees of al-Farabi Kazakh National University were awarded the title of "Best in Profession" (see the full list below).
Certificates of honor, flowers and certificates were presented to the winners of the competition by Deputy Chairman of the Board – Acting First Vice-Rector Erkin Duisenov. The event continued with a concert program and ended with a memorable photo session.
