WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE SDGs, AT THE DEPARTMENT OF TURKISH STUDIES AND HISTORY OF THE EAST ON THE EVE OF DECEMBER 16, INDEPENDENCE DAY, THE EVENING “OUR HEART BEATS FOR INDEPENDENCE!”
As part of the sustainable development goals, on December 12, 2024, the evening “Our heart beats for independence!” was held at the Department of Turkic Studies and History of East. The organizers of the event were 3rd year students and senior teachers: departments Nazarova A.Zh., Temenova G.K. The evening was attended by faculty, undergraduates and students of the Department of Turkic Studies and History of East.
The event began with the performance of the anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan, followed by speeches by the participants. Presentations were made by: Salimbay Asel with the topic “Independent Kazakhstan”, Nurgazina Meruert with the report “Foreign Policy of Kazakhstan”. After the presentations, students asked questions to the speakers and discussed key points.
In addition, Iliyas Zhaniya, a 3rd year student, played the dombra of Tinaliev A. “December Wind”, students read poems: Dulatkyzy Aziza, Sarina K.’s poem “Independence”, Akimbek Aidan, Shakhanov M.’s poem “December Square”, and there was also A quiz was held, organized by Medina Malikova and Rahilyam Asimova.
At the end of the evening, the guests of honor spoke with congratulations and the students sang Zhanbota Tuyakbaev’s song “Ken Dalam!”
