SDG-4: A seminar-training was held on the topic: «Developing Essential Skills for Students»

On January 21, the Psychological Support Service and the "Inclusive Environment" Scientific and Practical Center of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a seminar-training for students living in Dormitory No. 10 within the framework of SDG 4: "Quality Education." The theme of the seminar was "Developing Essential Skills for Students."
The goal of the psychological training was to acquire professional skills necessary for student life, to teach self-regulation and self-control skills, as well as to increase confidence in oneself and one's abilities. The training began with an exercise called "Getting to Know Each Other," aimed at establishing positive and trusting relationships among the participants. During the seminar, various exercises were conducted to help students overcome internal fears and anxiety, as well as to develop openness and trust towards others. The participants were able to increase their emotional resilience and learn how to effectively cope with tension and stress.
The meeting was filled with many useful and interesting emotions that helped students better understand their inner resources and opportunities for personal growth. This training became not only a way to improve students' psychological well-being but also an effective tool for their personal and professional development, which is an important step in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
