Interesting winter holidays

A museum is a cultural place reflecting the history, culture, traditions of each nation and other national values. When visiting such places and getting acquainted with new data, the horizon of human knowledge is undeniable. Within the framework of the SDGs of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and in order to organize the event "interesting winter holidays" of the Faculty of Pre-university Education, on January 23, 2025, students of the Department of Pre-university Education visited the Kasteev Museum of Art.

Purpose: we got acquainted with the traditional national crafts of the Kazakh people, the stages of development where decorative and applied arts, which are the national heritage of the Kazakh people, have been accumulated for centuries and passed down from generation to generation. The nomad culture was marked by many types of crafts: embroidery, textiles, wood and bone products, colors, horse saddles, jewelry.
