The Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-University Education of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University together with the Confucius Institute organized a round table dedicated to the social project No. 17 "Strengthening instruments for achieving sustainable development and activating the mechanisms of global partnership for sustainable development", including the direction "Sustainable Development Goals", and according to the Eastern calendar. The round table was attended by teachers of the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners and the Confucius Institute, international students from China, Korea, Japan, Spain, Turkey, the Philippines and other countries. Then the participants of the round table made presentations. International students were able to get acquainted with the traditions of the Country of China to celebrate the New Year with the help of a videotape, taste the national dishes of the country of China and admire the literary scene.
