The Psychological Support Service of Al-Farabi KazNU and the "Inclusive Environment" Scientific and Practical Center held a seminar-training titled "Ways to Boost Confidence" on January 27th for students living in Dormitory No. 9, within the framework of SDG 4: "Quality Education". The training began with an exercise called "Getting to Know Each Other" aimed at establishing positive relationships among participants.
The goal of the psychological training was to teach students the necessary professional skills, develop self-regulation and self-control skills, and increase confidence in themselves and their abilities. Additionally, various exercises were conducted aimed at overcoming internal fears and anxieties, as well as promoting openness.
During the seminar, students participated in practical tasks that helped them better understand their emotions, learn how to control them, and manage stressful situations. Different methods were used, such as role-playing, group work, and individual exercises, which allowed each participant to develop their strengths and work effectively in a team.
Special attention was given to building self-confidence and finding ways to overcome insecurities and fear of future challenges. Participants noted that it became easier for them to cope with inner struggles, and they felt supported by those around them.
The meeting was filled with useful and interesting emotions, which not only helped students develop important psychological skills but also strengthened their motivation for further learning and professional growth. After the training, all participants expressed gratitude and highlighted that the knowledge they gained would be valuable in both their academic and personal lives.
