The event "Conservation of terrestrial ecosystems" was held

The 15th Goal of sustainable Development is the conservation of terrestrial ecosystems. Protecting the ecosystem and restoring it is a big challenge. In this regard, in order to explain the goals of sustainable development and environmental education of foreign students, Associate Professor of the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Sadenova A. E. held an event "conservation of terrestrial ecosystems". The purpose of this event was to inform and inform international students about actions that can be taken to protect the environment and combat climate change. 

           During the event, Associate Professor Sadenova A. E. In her speech explained the need to promote the proper use of the environment, optimal use of forests, combating desertification and striving to minimize or completely eliminate the influence of all anthropogenic factors that hinder the survival of mankind, and, consequently, not to dump harmful waste, taking care of the surrounding nature of each person, explaining that their Delivery to special processing locations is also a contribution to achieving this specific goal.

In addition, during the event, students were provided with information about the chemical composition and properties of plastic containers, their harm to the environment and human health.

The students showed great interest in the topic, asked questions, expressed their thoughts and exchanged opinions.
