A discussion on "conservation of marine ecosystems" took place

As part of the achievement of the UN SDG Goal 14, under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners at the Faculty of Pre-University Education of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Sadenova A. E., a discussion was held among international students on the conservation of the 14 marine ecosystems of the SDGs. The event was organized in a round table format. The event was dedicated to discussing the urgent need to protect marine ecosystems from destruction and pollution, the importance of biodiversity in the oceans, and the impact of human activities on marine animals and plants. Issues such as concrete steps to preserve marine ecosystems, the organization of marine reserves, improving ocean garbage collection, and the development of sustainable fishing practices were also discussed.

The event was actively attended by international students who discussed the most important aspects of the marine ecosystem, the legal framework for marine protection, and the public danger of marine pollution. The moderator of the event, Associate Professor of the Department of Language and General Education Training for Foreigners Sadenova A. E. expressed gratitude to the foreign students who made suggestions for the conservation of the marine ecosystem.
