Guest lecture on the topic: "Partnership for Sustainable Development and Global Poverty Reduction"

As part of strengthening and activating the tools for implementing the UN SDGs for Sustainable Development within the framework of the Global Partnership on December 2, 2024, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Nurbol  Jetibavev gave a guest lecture on the topic "Fighting poverty in the world". This lecture was attended by 4th-year students of the educational program "Jurisprudence" of the KazILWL named after Abylai Khan and 4th-year students of the Law Faculty of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Yerzhankyzy Ayim, Orazov Mekemtas, Tursinaly Olzhas. The lecture discussed and disclosed the issues of joining forces in the fight against poverty at the international level in accordance with the 2000 United Nations Millennium Declaration, which adopted the Millennium Development Goals, during which the World Bank set itself the goal of defeating poverty worldwide by 2030. Within the framework of the UN Millennium Declaration, Nurbol. Jetibavev gave a lecture, which provided new data on the eradication of poverty in the world. In this guest lecture, Nurbol  Jetibavev welled on the current experience of poverty reduction in the world. In addition, issues related to the fight against poverty in Kazakhstan, as well as issues related to the implementation of the fight within the framework of the United Nations, were discussed.
