Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) Cultural Anthropology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has been published and is available to higher and postgraduate education organizations in Kazakhstan on the Coursera international educational platform.

The course "Cultural Anthropology" has been included in the collection of Kazakhstan's MOOCs as part of the Coursera-Qazaqstan project, which is supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was developed by Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Azhar Kuanyshbekkyzy.

The main goal of the course is to provide a comprehensive understanding of cultural anthropology and to introduce students to the methods and techniques of cultural-anthropological research. The course covers key topics such as economic, political, gender, legal, and military activities, as well as the study of sociocultural phenomena and processes in various societies and cultures.

Participants in the online course will gain knowledge that will help develop analytical and research skills and improve their ability to conduct independent scientific research. The course is an integral part of the system of social and humanitarian disciplines and is closely connected with philosophy, sociology, religious studies, political science, and many other fields of knowledge.
