Congratulations to the holders of double diplomas!

In the 2023-2024 academic year, master's students of the "8M07101- Petrochemistry" educational program, Nadir Zhamantai, Ivan Klassen, Nurly Tasbolat, and Akzhol Akan, achieved great success. They completed their studies under the dual degree program at Claude Bernard Lyon-1 University, one of the most prestigious universities in France, ranked in the TOP-300 worldwide, and received diplomas from both universities.

      This two-degree program (coordinator Kanapieva F.M., Bakirova B.S., Aubakirov E.A.) allows students to simultaneously gain academic experience from two different educational institutions. The undergraduates deepened the theoretical and practical knowledge gained in Kazakhstan on the basis of modern laboratories and technologies in France. The University of Lyon - 1 is known for its research and modern teaching methods, so this program has opened up new opportunities for young scientists.

       They not only acquired new knowledge and skills during the international exchange of experience, but also established important connections in order to become competitive specialists in the petrochemical industry in the future.  Nadir Zhamantai continues his studies in a Ph.D. program at a university in the USA, and Ivan Klassen is pursuing his Ph.D. in the UK.

        This academic year, five more master's students from this program are continuing their education at Lyon-1 University.
