Meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi KazNU

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Republic of Kazakhstan Christopher Duggan visited the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The meeting was attended by political advisor Zeinab Alieva, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science Meirbayev Bekzhan Berikbayevich, Head of the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies Nassimova Gulnar Orlenbayevna, Head of the Global Partnership Office of the Department of International Cooperation Ashimova Aitolkyn Berikkyzy, Deputy Dean for Scientific and Innovative Work and International Relations Oserbaev Eldos Nurlanuly, as well as teachers, doctoral students and master's students of the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies.

They discussed topical issues of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular those related to quality education and partnership. The parties also discussed the university's achievements, research directions and further plans for cooperation, including organizing events and lectures for students. At the end of the meeting Christopher Duggan presented new books to the student library of the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies named after T. Mustafin (opened with the support of the famous Kazakh political scientist Dosym Satpayev).
