SDG-4: Students participated in the poetry evening ‘A Conversation with Mukagali’

On February 11, on the birthday of the great poet Mukaghali Makataev, the founder of Kazakh poetry, students of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi visited the theater of traditional art "Alatau" and watched a poetic evening called "Interview with Mukaghali...".

Organized with the aim of increasing respect for the poet's work and spiritual education of the young generation, this evening became an impressive and informative cultural event for students. The audience became witnesses of a masterful embodiment on the stage of the themes of morality, love, nature, life and death in Mukagali's poems. The actor was born in the theater and recited poetry, breathing new life into his work. Impressive performance, soulful voice and gentle lyrics of the song - all this gave the listeners a special spiritual inspiration.

In the course of the evening, songs of the poet's poetry were sung and stage plays were staged, telling about the life and creative path of Mukagali. Thanks to the compositions written on the motifs of the poet's poems, the audience once again felt his secret experiences, internal contradictions and deep philosophical thoughts.

At the end of the event, students shared their impressions and noted that they received spiritual pleasure from the great heritage of Kazakh literature.
