A delegation from Al-Farabi KazNU, represented by the Farabi International Business School, visited the Indian cities of Noida and Mumbai. During the trip, KazNU became a co-organizer of the ICBSE 2025 international conference.

The outcome of the meetings between the delegation members and representatives of leading educational and scientific institutions was the signing of three memorandums of understanding and intentions to develop cooperation.

The ICBSE 2025 international conference, organized by the GNIOT Institute of Management Studies (GIMS) in collaboration with KazNU, became a significant event for the global educational community. The university's participation as a co-organizer highlighted its high status in the fields of science and education. The event was attended by representatives from six countries: Kazakhstan, India, Russia, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, and Nepal.

The conference program covered a wide range of relevant issues related to education, business, and innovative technologies. The presentations addressed key topics, including e-commerce, the role of online platforms and digital technologies in the economy, as well as modern approaches to business education in the context of globalization.

One of the significant outcomes of the conference was the presentation of 80 scientific papers, including research by PhD students from the Farabi International Business School. These works made a substantial contribution to the development of science and business education practice. The Deputy Director of Farabi International Business School, Kiyal Tukembaeva, gave a presentation titled "The e-commerce market and the role of marketplaces in Kazakhstan: local and international players", showcasing relevant research on the e-commerce market in Kazakhstan and its impact on the global economy. Additionally, the delegation participated in the official presentation of the book "Management in the Age of AI" by Dr. Bhupinder Soma, Director of GIMS, which addresses the challenges and opportunities for business in the age of artificial intelligence.

As part of the conference, an official memorandum of cooperation was signed between KazNU and GIMS. During the negotiations, the prospects of sending 50 GIMS students to the KazNU summer school were discussed, as well as faculty exchange programs between the universities. Additionally, agreements were signed with two leading universities in Delhi – Sushant University and the International Management Institute. This partnership will open new opportunities for joint educational and scientific initiatives.

The delegation from Farabi International Business School also visited Universal AI University – the first university in India specializing in artificial intelligence. Founded in 2009 as a business school, it became a leading institution in the field of AI in 2023. During the meeting with its founder, Tarun Anand, the prospects for creating joint research projects and faculty exchange programs were discussed. This collaboration is focused on training specialists who can contribute to a more sustainable and innovative future.

The visit of the Farabi International Business School delegation to Noida and Mumbai, participation in the ICBSE 2025 conference, and the signing of international agreements have strategic significance for the development of KazNU and the business school. Such initiatives help strengthen international ties, improve the quality of education, and create new opportunities for joint projects.
