Patriotic meeting "Youth of Kazakhstan – creative" was held in KazNU

In accordance with the directive of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, a patriotic meeting titled "Youth of Kazakhstan – Creative" was held at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The aim of the event was to explain the state support measures provided to the student youth.

The meeting, which took place in an open format, gathered leaders of youth organizations, international students, young scientists, and volunteers who are actively involved in public life.

The rector of the university, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, emphasized that university science should stem from students and highlighted that the state and the educational institution will always support the youth. He also pointed out that the university’s authority grows thanks to young scientists-researchers who strive for knowledge, and in the era of technological development, the youth must turn to science with renewed energy and implement the latest innovative projects.

"President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted: 'Kazakhstan must become the most advanced country. We must become a nation that not only learns but also teaches others. It is the young people who will bring all these initiatives to life'

"I am confident that the youth of KazNU will also demonstrate creative thinking and become the initiators of new ideas and good deeds", - said Z. Tuimebayev.

During the meeting, active youth and international students took the floor and shared their opinions and suggestions.

"On February 8, the youth forum 'Zhańa Adamdar' was held in Astana with the participation of the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. I met peers who represented the university and worked on the most pressing social issues. The forum addressed issues such as combating vandalism, fighting against those who litter in prohibited places, the sale of alcohol to minors, and drug trafficking. The importance of establishing the rule of law and order was discussed. The ideological meaning of the ecological campaign 'Clean Kazakhstan' was explained. Today, as I share my impressions of the forum, I urge you to work together to solve these problems in the future", - said Aigerim Esimkhan, the recipient of the Presidential Scholarship and Chair of the youth wing organization "Zhasar Rukhy"

"It is a great honor for me to study at al-Farabi KazNU. Here, I am improving my knowledge. I will receive an education, join the ranks of qualified doctors, and serve the people with honesty", - said international student Nasbolla Faizi.

Today, about 4,000 students from 54 countries are studying at KazNU. During the meeting, the rector instructed to increase the activity of international students and expressed readiness to support and develop startup projects and creative initiatives by young scientists.
