Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the Ahmet Baitursynov Museum-House

Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the Ahmet Baitursynov Museum-House, where they learned more about the life of this great national figure. The event was organized as part of the fourth goal of the UN Sustainable Development Program, focused on quality education. Ahmet Baitursynov was an outstanding public figure of Kazakhstan, a poet, linguist, and scholar who made significant contributions to the introduction of the Latin alphabet for the Kazakh language.
At the museum-house, the students explored Baitursynov's life and works and discussed his contributions to the development of Kazakh philology.

During the excursion, his manuscripts, books, letters, and photographs were displayed, providing a better understanding of his life and scientific work in the field of Kazakh linguistics.
This event not only provided students with an opportunity to gain new knowledge, but also allowed them to familiarize themselves with historical figures and evaluate their place in the country's history. The students deepened their understanding of Ahmet Baitursynov’s legacy and reflected on his role in society.

The goal of the excursion was to introduce students to the great personalities of Kazakhstan and to highlight their contributions to national culture, history, and education. The event was organized by the faculty members of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, M.T. Bizhanova and Z.M. Bekbayeva.
