The Rector of KazNU met with the heads of Research Institutes

The Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, met with the heads of research institutes at the "Gylym Ordasy" base.

The meeting was attended by: Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Malik Otarbayev, Head of the Center for the Training of Scientific Personnel of the RGP "Gylym Ordasy" Altyn Ualtaeva, Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after R.Suleimenova Dukent Masimkhanuly, Deputy Director of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies Sholpan Zhamanbalaeva, Director of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Sh. Ualikhanov Ziyabek Ermukhanuly, Director of the Institute of Economics Yerkin Sadykov, Director of the Institute of Linguistics named after A.Baytursynov Anar Fazylzhan, Deans of faculties, and scholars.

The participants of the meeting exchanged views on the further development of partnership relations between KazNU and the research institutes, as well as on improving the quality of joint educational programs.

During the meeting, Malik Otarbayev spoke, emphasizing that higher education institutions and research institutes play a crucial role in the development of science. He also noted that the strengthening of domestic science is always a key focus of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

In turn, the head of KazNU, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, instructed the deans of the faculties to establish close relationships with the research institutes at the "Gylym Ordasy" base and implement joint scientific projects.

Issues related to the support of scientists and students by the university were also discussed, as well as ways to address challenges arising during research activities.
