KazNU students won prizes in a sports tournament

On February 15-16, 2025, the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism organized the "O.A. Sardarov Memorial Tournament in Sports Tourism on Artificial Relief" among universities and clubs.

Students of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took an active part in this tournament. The event was supported by the Dean of the Faculty Aktymbaeva A.S. and the Head of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism Bayburiyev R.M., the team was headed by Beisakhmet A.A.

The competitions were held in the "solo" and "bundle" competitions. Students of the Tourism specialty - Tolegen Ali, Saiden Dias, Durmekbaiuly Nursultan, Murat Asylzhan, Parimbai Meirkhan and Kazhygali Meyrambek - from the Zhastur team took part in the "bundles" competition, showing a high result and taking the prize-winning 3rd place.

This achievement testifies to the competence of KazNU students in the field of tourism and their interest in sports tourism. We congratulate the participants on their victories and wish them success in the upcoming competitions.
