Meeting of students with veterans of the Afghan war

On the eve of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, the 1st year students of the specialty Religious Studies and Theology met with veterans of the Afghan war. The event “You are in the hearts of your people, Warrior-Internationalist!” was timed in honor of the 36th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.  The guests of the meeting were warriors-internationalists, chairman of the Union of Afghan War Veterans “Abyroy” Ali Daulbekov and Nazar Bulegenovich Alibaev. Khashimov Dilshot Sametuly, colonel of reserve of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan Konurov Arman Tileutaevich and veteran Ibraimzhanova Galiya Gabdulkhakovna supported the warriors-internationalists.

At the meeting, Professor of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies Karlygash Borbasova noted that listening to the memories of veterans of the Afghan War is moral education.

Veterans urged students to love their native country, fulfill their duty to the state and get education for a better future.
