"Light of Virtue: Care and Mercy"

On February 20, 2025, at the initiative of the Departments of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies, Pedagogy and Education Management, a charity event and educational event "Light of Virtue: Care and Mercy" was organized in accordance with the goal of sustainable development "Good Health and Well-being". Under the leadership of Professor of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies K.M. Borbasova, cand.of philos.science M.B. Alikbayeva and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Education Management A.A. Masimbaeva, first-year doctoral students in the specialty "Religious Studies" (Russian group) and "Islamic Studies" visited the nursing home "Meyirimdi Zhanuya".

The staff happily welcomed the guests, the conversation with the elders grew into a heartfelt conversation. The students sang folk songs and played kuis, which greatly pleased the grandparents. Between the sonfs, entertaining stories were told, Professor Karlygash Moldagalievna also talked with the aksals and emphasized the importance of such events. After a lively conversation, a meal was served, and at the end of the meeting, the elder expressed his best wishes and blessings to everyone.

"My elders are a precious treasure", our people have always respected the elders and honored the younger ones. Such events, establishing close ties with society and promoting mutual brotherhood and kindness, strengthen the continuity between generations. After the songs, the blessings of the grateful elders and the words of their life experience did not leave the young people indifferent, as if explaining to them the meaning of true spiritual wealth. The children's expressions of gratitude from the elders remind us of how important it is to bring joy to others.
