Meeting with François-Xavier Nérard at the Faculty of History
On February 24, 2025, the Faculty of History of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a meeting with the renowned French historian, Associate Professor at the Pantheon-Sorbonne University (Paris), and Head of Scientific Research, François-Xavier Nérard. The meeting took place in room 405 of the Faculty of History.
Professor Nérard is known for his research in the field of USSR history, particularly the period from 1928 to 1941. His work generates great interest among historians worldwide.
The meeting was attended by faculty members, doctoral students, master's students, and undergraduates of the Faculty of History. The event was conducted in the format of a live dialogue, allowing each party to ask questions of interest. The meeting was organized by the Department of World History, Historiography, and Source Studies.
