In honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War and the 115th anniversary of B. Momyshuly (TDM-16), graduate students in the "Islamic Studies" program examined exhibits from the "Kazakhstan during the Great Patriotic War" department of the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The museum stores the names of heroes, weapons used in the war, personal belongings and documents of heroes who participated in the war. In addition, graduate students examined the personal belongings of B. Momyshuly, answered questions about his life and work, and received books. Bauyrzhan Momyshuly became famous as a hero, strategist, writer, ethnographer and highly moral citizen. In addition to military experience and the psychology of war, his works are characterized by an honest and simple description of his biography, childhood, life and customs of people at the beginning of the 20th century, and this uniqueness captivates readers. The students got acquainted with different aspects of B. Momyshuly's life and consolidated their knowledge. Earlier, we visited the psychological, artistic performance "Optimistic Tragedy", which revealed the destructive consequences of the war in general, and witnessed its spiritually exhausting aspect.

To summarize, it can be said that the dark years, although they give birth to strong citizens, leave a void in the hearts of humanity that no time can fill. Commemoration of the names of the victims of the war and remembrance of their bravery lead people to unity and cohesion, encourage them to treat all living beings with compassion.

After the event, we visited the exhibition of paintings by N.G. Khludov. His paintings reflect the daily life of the Kazakhs of Semirechye at the beginning of the 20th century, the beauty of Alatau, Issyk-Kul and the surrounding nature, brings peace to the human soul.
