Meeting with the delegation of "MangystauEnergoMunai" at the Faculty of Physics and Technology of KazNU. SDG 4 and SDG 17.

A meeting was held at the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with representatives of JSC "MangystauEnergoMunai", one of Kazakhstan's leading companies in the energy and oil and gas industry. The visit aimed to strengthen scientific and educational cooperation, exchange experience, and discuss prospects for joint work.

Introduction to Laboratories and Training Centers

As part of the meeting, the delegation of "MangystauEnergoMunai" visited the laboratories of the Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics, where research is conducted in energy, materials science, and engineering thermodynamics. Company representatives were shown modern equipment and installations used in scientific research and educational processes.

Additionally, the guests were introduced to the Huawei and Samsung training centers at the faculty. These centers are equipped with advanced digital technologies, allowing students and young scientists to gain practical knowledge in IT and technical sciences.

Prospects for Cooperation

During the negotiations, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in personnel training and joint scientific research. Special attention was given to organizing professional development courses for "MangystauEnergoMunai" employees at KazNU. These courses will provide company specialists with additional training in key areas such as:

• Energy and Thermophysics;
• Automation and Digitalization of Industrial Processes;
• Modern Technologies in the Oil and Gas Industry;
• Renewable Energy Sources and Sustainable Energy Development.

The parties also considered the prospects for joint scientific projects focused on developing innovative technologies in the energy sector. Faculty scientists proposed participation in grant programs and technological developments that could help optimize the company’s production processes.

The meeting with "MangystauEnergoMunai" representatives contributed to the achievement of several UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
