On February 25, 2025, within the framework of pedagogical practice, in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG-4), ensure large-scale and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. In order to create and improve educational institutions that take into account the interests of children, the special needs of people with disabilities and gender aspects, and to ensure a safe, violence-free and social barrier-free and effective educational environment for all, among the staff of the educators of the communal state institution «Regional Center for Support of Children in Need of Special Social Services» of the state institution «Department of Education of Almaty The competition «The Best Educator-2025» was held in the region. The event was organized by 1st-year doctoral students of the specialty «Social Pedagogy» Yessenbayeva B. A., Azhmambet A. E. under the guidance of the head of the Department of Pedagogy and Management in Education of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Professor Alkozhayeva N.S. and PhD Shakirova A.D.
The competition was held at the regional support center for children in need of special social services in Almaty. KazNU doctoral students and educators of this organization actively participated in it. The purpose of the educational event was aimed at providing large-scale and fair quality education and encouraging lifelong learning opportunities for all.
During the competition, the participants presented their pedagogical position, demonstrated innovative pedagogical skills, showed videos, acting and creative skills based on interesting moments spent with children. Doctoral student Yessenbayeva B.A. performed together with Valeria Shatskaya, a pupil of the Support Center (disabled, blind), «A song about a mother».
At the end of the competition, the Director of the Center awarded the participants with prizes and presented gifts. In addition, the director of the center thanked the doctoral students who organized such a solemn competition, as well as for their creative approach and presented special letters of thanks for cooperation to the representative of the Department of Pedagogy and Management in Education at KazNU.
