The fourth goal of sustainable development is quality education. In this regard, in order to explain the goals of sustainable development to foreign students and provide them with quality education, teachers of the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi held an event called "Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan: the path to unity and harmony." The purpose of this event was to educate and inform foreign students about the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the path to unity and harmony.
During the event, Associate Professor A.E. In her speech, Sadenova explained that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, that it has played a decisive role in the formation and strengthening of interethnic relations in a state where representatives of more than 120 different peoples live, and has become a symbol of unity and harmony in a multinational society. The fact that the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan has proven itself to be an effective tool for ensuring stability, peace and harmony between the various ethnic groups living in the republic over the three decades of its existence can be considered a contribution to the implementation of this goal.
In addition, during the event, students were told that the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan unites all ethnic groups in the country, that this is an important step towards creating a society based on respect and mutual understanding, and that the Assembly takes an active part in the development and implementation of state policy in the field of interethnic and interfaith relations.
The students showed great interest in the topic, asked questions, expressed their thoughts and exchanged opinions.
