New jeans or preserving the environment?

On February 25, 2025, a discussion of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12 was held with students of group 2307 of the Department of Fundamental Medicine of KazNU. The topic of discussion - ensuring the transition to rational models of consumption and production - was of great interest to the audience. The presentation with interesting facts about the scale of the problem and ways to solve it, as well as a documentary with the participation of the UN Goodwill Ambassador, the famous actress Michelle Yeoh, about the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 12 in the Fashion industry gave rise to an active discussion and students from India, Bangladesh, Mongolia and Iran made their proposals for solving this problem.
