Meeting with the Distinguished Graduate of Al-Farabi KazNU, M.T. Gabdullin

On February 27, 2025, a meeting was organized for the 4th-year students of the educational program "6B05305 - Physics and Nanotechnology" by Senior Lecturer of the Department of Plasma Physics, Nanotechnology, and Computer Physics, M.N. Sultangazin. The meeting was held with the distinguished graduate of our faculty, Maratbek Tulebergenovich Gabdullin.

Maratbek Tulebergenovich Gabdullin is a PhD holder, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, and a highly qualified specialist in the fields of plasma physics, nanomaterials, nanotechnology, and hydrogen energy. He has published more than 400 scientific papers, 55 of which have been published in top-rated journals in the USA, England, Germany, Russia, and other countries. As of today, Maratbek Tulebergenovich is the author of 9 patents in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He maintains close creative collaborations with leading scientists from various global scientific centers in Germany, France, the USA, Japan, Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. He is a member of the editorial boards of scientific journals and a reviewer for high-ranking journals.

For his achievements in science, Maratbek Tulebergenovich has received numerous awards, including "Best Young Scientist," "Best University Teacher," the State Prize in Science and Technology named after Al-Farabi, the "Altyn Adam – Person of the Year" award, and the Presidential Medal "Қазақстан Конституциясына 25 жыл" (25 Years of the Constitution of Kazakhstan), among others.

Previously, Maratbek Tulebergenovich held the position of Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, after which he was appointed as the Rector of the Kazakh-British Technical University.
