The French invited students from KazNU to the summer school

The Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, met with Thierry Plaisant, the Managing Director of TotalEnergies Renewables in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the implementation of joint projects and the training of qualified personnel. They also exchanged views on the opening of a joint research center based at the educational institution.

Zhanseit Tuimebayev presented the university's scientific potential to the distinguished guest and emphasized that KazNU pays special attention to further deepening its partnership with TotalEnergies Renewables.

In turn, Thierry Plaisant thanked the rector for the attention and, in his speech, made several proposals.

"We plan to organize a summer school in the future. We invite KazNU students to actively participate. This project will focus on energy and physics. It is expected that more than 200 young students will take part", - said Thierry Plaisant .

During the meeting, the parties agreed to systematically implement these initiatives and exchanged memorable gifts.
