Within the framework of Section No. 17, which includes the direction of" Sustainable Development Goals", the holiday" day of gratitude " was celebrated

The Department of language and general education training of foreigners at the Faculty of pre-university education of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University recently held an open educational event "Thanksgiving Day" for foreign students from China, Korea, Japan, USA, Spain, Denmark, Australia within the framework of the social project No. 17 "strengthening the tools for achieving sustainable development and activating global partnership mechanisms in the interests of sustainable development", which has scientific, educational significance and includes the direction of "Sustainable Development Goals".

The purpose of this event was to give an idea of the meaning of the holiday "March 1-Thanksgiving Day" and expand the understanding of the value of gratitude and gratitude, respect, develop a relationship of courtesy, and widely introduce sacred spiritual values to foreign citizens.

During the event, teachers of the Department of language and general education training of foreigners made reports, spoke about the "day of gratitude"-the day of gratitude to the Kazakh people for the fact that the representatives of different ethnic groups who ironically moved to Kazakhstan are welcomed by the Kazakh people, together Bear and support other burdens, and also proudly said that the "day of gratitude" can be understood as a tribute to history, and never forget the care of the Kazakh people and the care and kindness shown by the Kazakh people in difficult times will be an example for others.

During the event, students of the faculty took part in an intellectual game of questions and answers. An exhibition about the holiday" day of gratitude " was organized, where the history, traditions, national motifs, clothing, food, culture, art of the Kazakh people were presented. The event continued with a musical and poetic evening. This evening, students showed their prepared performances. During the evening, poems and songs were performed in Russian and Kazakh languages.

Through the event, foreign students of the faculty got acquainted with new information about the holiday "March 1-Thanksgiving Day", culture, customs, history of the Kazakh people.

Foreign students are convinced that by participating in educational and cultural events, they can not only learn at this faculty, but also participate in cultural events, grow culturally and spiritually.
