“How important it is to be grateful!” - Under this motto on March 1 was held an educational event with foreign students of group 6 of the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-University Education of Al-Farabi KazNU. This SDG 3 event was dedicated to celebrating Gratitude Day in Kazakhstan. On the eve of the holiday, foreign students read on the Internet about the history of this holiday in the multinational Republic of Kazakhstan. During the presentation of the material by curator Aitpayeva A.S. students supplemented the information with facts found on various websites. Students were happy to share this information on this topic, asked the curator to clarify questions. At the end of the event, the students discussed who and what in life we are thankful for. They went out and wrote on the blackboard what they considered important for themselves: to thank parents for giving life; teachers for giving knowledge and being very patient; friends for friendship; government for trying to make life in the country better. After this meeting was over, the students thanked the curator and each other for the interesting information, the opportunity to discuss this issue and express their thoughts.
